# Spinner Verbs
> Themed spinner verb packs for Claude Code

Spinner Verbs (spinnerverbs.com) is a free, open-source website where developers browse themed spinner verb packs for Claude Code and install them with one click.

## What are spinner verbs?
Claude Code shows rotating "spinner verbs" in the terminal while processing — words like "Hyperspacing..." and "Flibbertigibbeting..." Since v2.1.23, users can customize these via the spinnerVerbs setting in ~/.claude/settings.json.

## How to use
1. Visit spinnerverbs.com
2. Pick a themed pack (90s Hip Hop, Star Wars, Pirate, Bob Ross, Retro Terminal, and more)
3. Click "Copy Script" on any pack card
4. Paste the JSON config into ~/.claude/settings.json

Bacon, Hipster, Cupcake, Pirate, Gangsta, Samuel L. Jackson, 90s Hip Hop, Star Wars, Star Trek, Self-Aware AI, Corporate BS, Bob Ross, Retro Terminal

"mode": "replace" uses only your verbs. "mode": "append" mixes yours with Claude's defaults.
